Part 61

 

 

Geet entered the premises of the party venue,, her heartbeat raised with an unknown anxiety. She saw the worker’s worried face,, those were from KC and the event manager was nowhere to be found… ridz n piya also came there.. they asked her not to stress herself so much but geet being geet was adamant to come here and help the situation, she knew how much important it was for Maan… she had called pinky to come there and assist her in every work which she obliged, geet had informed not to say anything to maan, reluctantly she agreed…

 

Once they reached the hall geet was flabbergasted to see the place… its huge and they don’t have much labor, she called abhay immediately….

 

Geet: Abhay, I need some labour for xyz venue, the event manager backed out at the last moment we have 2hour to do everything….

 

Abhay: what? geet u r saying this now? how will maan manage?

 

Geet: erm,,,

 

Abhay: don’t tell me u r there… Geet was quite…. abhay got his answer.. Got Damit Geet, can’t u understand its nearly 5 month of ur pregnancy and its risky to roam like this and what maan said about it…

 

Geet: abhay please calm down and listen to me, Maan doesn’t know about my coming here and the party,,

 

Abhay: WHATTTT??? Man will kill everyone if he get to know u r there.. It’s the biggest deal right now for KC, I know its everywhere in news and God how will this happen now…

 

Piya snatched the phone from geet: will u stop ur investigation and help us… she said irritatingly… abhay for a moment wanted to ask what she is doing there but piya cut him.. Not a word abhay, just come here with labor and stop ur rapid fire, once we get settle this mess we will tell u everything….

 

Abhay: I swear if maan comes there or say anything I will be the first one to back out…

 

Piya chuckle: I know, u r not so courageous to stand in front of him….

 

Abhay: I love my life,, he murmured and cut the call… here the girls laughed remembering abhay’s face…

Aadi received a call about geet reaching the venue and doing all party arrangements,, one side he was happy knowing geet’s professional face… she is Mrs Geet MSK, and she knew her way out,, she can come out from this situation easily… aadi had worked with geet for few months and got to know her professional side…. But the demon in front of him working like machine just frightening him…. he had seen the rage in maan from the time he had entered the office… he had appointed few labor for the venue and instructed them what to do and how to do and that’s why they had done half work till geet entered… he had tried to contact other organizer but knowing his mood they also backed out cause taking a job in this time and if they couldn’t do it properly MSK will sue them without blink… still aadi assured him he is arranging someone for this work…

 

But aadi now worried as he knew when maan will know geet had gone to the venue to arrange everything he will blast the right moment… but he thought if he keep his mouth shut maybe maan will be angry more, so gathering all courage he approached him to say about geet but next moment he shrieked in horror…

 

Maan: I need the bas**** out from this field. He just ruined my party now I will ruin him. what did he thought MSK will leave him… Roy I want that event organizer on road. And bring out the information about that gold digger who tried to betray Maan Singh Khurana, I know the person is in my own company who gave my rival all the information ,, so I want that bas**** out of here and I will make sure he would definitely rot in hell…

Maan slammed the phn,, then concentrated on blue prints… Aadi was frighten seeing maan so much in anger, he couldn’t dare to say a word in fear…

 

Maan: aadi the blue print was ready by the time I left the office then how did it mishap? He said blankly still looking at the blueprints… but not getting enough answer he looked up to see a sweating aadi… AADIII WILL U SPEAK??

 

Aadi: so-so-sorry si-sirrrrrrr,,,

 

Maan greeted his teeth: WHO?

 

Aadi: Ra-hulll, I mean only he was the one who came to ur cabin to take the blue prints…. He is senior architect so nobody doubted him… Maan didn’t said a word which mean rahul is gone now, aadi didn’t tried to dig out anything… but he wanted to tell about geet because if he get to know it later then aadi’s job will be at danger… mean time maan finished all work…

 

Maan: aadi take care of this now and DON’T let anybody enter my cabin because this time if I found any mishap u will loose ur job…. I m going at the venue…

 

Aadi: ji-ji-ji sirrr…. His’s eyes almost popped out hearing the last words… he have to say him now… Siiirrrr…

 

Maan: What aadi,, can’t u talk without adding extra rrrr…

 

Aadi: he-he-he-he

 

Maan: AADIII….

 

Aadi: sorry sirrr,,, wo actually I wanted to say something…

 

Maan: speak up fast…. maan was collecting his all essential, so he didn’t saw aadi’s sweating face….

 

Aadi looked upper recalling his God n murmur: bacha lena bhagwan ji…. Then to maan,, Sir Geet mam is at venue. Maan stopped all work and looked at blankly… the look aadi always fears… Sir pinky had called me.. mam is there arranging the party. Her friends are with her and Mr Abhay had come with more labor so maybe the work will be finish in the time… aadi completed his words gulping his fear hard…. He can feel maan’s jaw tightening and eyes becoming red in anger… he felt fear for geet. Knowing maan’s temper he will not hesitate to take out his anger on geet in front of everyone….

 

 

Maan changed his dress after getting a cold shower in his washroom. But nothing can cool down his rising anger.. Here he is doing all this just to be with her so that she can be safe and all she is doing stressing and pushing herself in to danger. So many hours continuous work had taken a toll on him. he had stopped thinking by heart cause his mind had over powered his senses… when we are in lots of stress heart usually stop giving us any clear way….. Then our mind work but mechanically which only know what is right and what is wrong.. Maan’s mind only drifted to raghav’s word, that don’t give her work stress.. then geet’s last state.. she was so worried and didn’t even taken any medicine… his guilt for not taking care of her was eating him inside and that has become double cause now she is working and it’s for him, if he has done his work perfectly may be then he would have been with geet now.. rage was visible in his every step.. The guilt and worry about her health was making him insane in rage….

 

 

Here in the hall geet had made everyone’s life hell.. as no one agree her to work so she was sitting in a sofa and ordering everyone what to do or not. But her mood swing was making her cranky so she was making everyone’s life hell and all with patience taking her all nakhra…  finally the work was done.. geet had personally saw every item of food… and finally she is happy seeing the arrangements…

 

Geet: maan will be so happy to see this… she saw her watch only 45 min left to start the party,,, she was looking here n there to see the last arrangement when her eyes fell on the center position, where an artificial huge flower plant was plotted.. it was illuminated with lights… but because of some broken wire upper tree wasn’t lightening… she called few labor to do that but they couldn’t locate the broken wire… geet was already feeling frustrated… On top of that she was feeling hungry, and Maan can come any moment,, she doesn’t want him to see she is working on the venue so she need to rush out but this good for nothing worker didn’t giving her any space to run out… irritatingly geet grabbed a stool and carefully climbed up, she held the wire and gave it to the worker, just then she felt a heated gaze on her back, she gulp her saliva when her heartbeat started beating fast… the hall was numb,, ridz gasp confirming her doubt is right.. She just turned slowly and met the more piercing eyes in this world…. Her hand shivered and lost the control over handle of the ladder which she was holding standing on the stool… her eyes widen in horror as she saw the ladder collapsing beside and she was going to fall badly… everyone shrieked in horror.. But she never met the hard floor…

 

Her lips shivered and eyes were closed, she gripped her saver or rather say her saver had gripped her strongly. But the grip was too tight almost making her scream in pain… but she couldn’t. seeing the pain in those deep chocolate eyes she couldn’t utter a word. Panic was evident in his eyes but as soon as he saw her safe in his arm, then meeting his gaze with guilt his pain mould as anger…. Geet couldn’t dare to look at his eyes knowing what is going in his heart… she saw few labor holding the ladder where one worker was hanging… he was safe, because of geet jerk the ladder fell but one worker was on that so few worker rush to hold that….

 

Maan put geet on her feet where piya and ridz rushed to see her, geet nodded her head in yes on their enquiring question, but she couldn’t met the fierce eyes of her husband. Ridz tried to say something to maan but he showed his finger to stop her… ridz gulp hard knowing maan’s anger… she just prayed he wouldn’t be so mad…. Maan saw everyone looking at them. He held geet’s hand and took her out from there… he has a personal suit in that hotel so he drag her there.. whole journey of the small distance geet was numb, she knew he is hurt, worried, but she need to make him understand she didn’t stressed herself…. Once they entered the room maan harshly pulls her towards him… she winched in pain as he dug his fingers on her arms…

 

Maan: WHY?? Why u come here? he tried to put his voice as low as he can but his anger was visible in his low voice which shivered geet…

 

Geet: maan.. she just whispered his voice.. but he was in much pain to neglect her pain right now… he pulls her more closer…

 

Maan: I told u I will come, can’t u trust me that much?

 

Geet: listen to me please.       

 

Maan: Why Geet Why? Why u always want to make me guilty. Why u always want to make me feel I m careless towards my wife and children? Geet only sobbed not because of her pain but the pain he was going through… What if anything happened to u or babies? Do u care geet what I have faced just a little ago? U nearly killed me… do u get what would happen if I couldn’t come to catch u there? do u get Geet?? He shouts atlast….

 

Each passing second was making his voice go higher,, and last shout made her jump in fear.. her tears started falling freely.. he was feeling frustrated and lastly her tear made the last ounce of control vanish… he left her and hit the wall behind him….

 

Geet tried to touch his shoulder but stopped mid way fearing his anger: Maan I m fine…

 

Maan spins around: and what would have happen if I wasn’t there? if they would fail to hold that stool or ladder. It would have come on u crushing u.. did u get what just happened geet?

 

Geet gulp her saliva now getting his anger: I I, m sorry…. she slowly said dipping her head…

 

Maan held her hand again: why can’t u understand damit I can’t lose u… his voice was full of pain which shows how much he fear to lose her…

 

Geet: I m really sorry.. but I,,

 

Maan shout: but what geet?? Did u want to say babies r fine u r fine? Geet nodded meekly… he made her face hard, Ok then tell me did u took healthy food apart from ur snack and junk food?? Her face said the answer still he carried… did u had ur medicine geet? Did u have amount of sleep and rest that ur body require? His each question made her shudder. She knew he will see the answer on her face and then only god will save her.. she was guilty and don’t know what to do… geet numbness and dipping head said all…. He gave a smirk… see u can take care of urself and babies. Right geet?? BOLO…

 

Geet nearly jumped on his voice, she couldn’t utter a word except shedding her tears which was making maan frustrated…

 

Maan: u can only shed these tears, good for nothing tears to melt me. u know how to use them very well geet…. Geet missed a beat, she felt some kind of pain hearing his last line, did he really thought she use her tears to melt him. she looked at him with question written on her eyes but maan looked away… Geet If u really care then go to Mansion and please for God sake this time don’t do that madness again…. U know very well how to make me guilty, but I m begging u don’t do this time.. I need my geet n babies safe but ur ignorance will snatch them from me, just go home geet…

 

He turned to see geet was already gone.. his heart missed few beats, a piercing pain shudder him seeing her going away from the room numbly.. she didn’t said a word nor shed any tears on his words, just walk out form the room and soon from the hotel without meeting anyone… maan opened his window and saw armaan already waiting for her, he had called armaan when they entered the elevator… Geet didn’t said a word to armaan just walked in the car… armaan looked up to see maan standing there.. his face said he wasn’t pleas to see geet’s state which make something crunched in maan’s stomach.

 

He recollect his words and her painful eyes. he closed his eyes in regret what did he said in his anger… he cursed himself for saying all those words…

 

Maan: What have I done.. Jaan I m sorry…. maaf kar do apne maan ko..

 

(Tich scratching her head, ye maan hamesha karne ke baad hi kyun sochta hian, bolte waqt kyun nahi sochta… grr)

Armaan passed a packet to geet, who wasn’t interested it at all…  she looked outside of the window… armaan placed it on her lap…

 

Armaan: khalo, babies need it. meera told me u haven’t eaten anything and rushed out to the venue… but geet was still not giving a look to him… armaan sighed. I guess Maan wasn’t at fault.. u make him angry by ur negligence.. now see if u won’t eat or take rest it will make him guilty.. do u want that?

 

His words work he thought as she started nibbling the sandwich which was packed… but least he know it’s maan’s word that made her eat it. she wasn’t relishing it armaan saw that.. she was just eating it for the sake of her babies… it’s her fav sandwich which she always cherish like anything.. but now she is just taking care of her health because of her babies.. she took out the medicine from her bag then gulp it with water… again she looked outside of the car… the coldness in her behavior feared armaan. He stopped the car in front of a small lake… he comes out from there and came to her side… then held her hand and took her to the lake side.. both sat there in silence….

 

Armaan: u remember it was like same when I have shared my heart for the first time with u… geet reacted on his words… she remember when armaan had said about her family to her.. his pain his grief and loneliness he had shared with her only… Geet I know Maan’s way of love is different. Very different, but u remember how much u were mad after him… u actually researched about him for 3 yrs because u loved him,, main to ek din na karu ridz k liye uff how much she is annoying… a small smile came on her lips.. making armaan smile… hmm my Gudiya is smiling…. Geet looked at him with painful eyes.. he indicate her to hug him and she clinched to him… Gudiya u r becoming a mother and on top of that ur life is in danger… just imagine if Maan was having these disease then u,,, he couldn’t complete when geet snapped..

 

Geet: Amyy,, what the hell r u saying, Maan ko kuch nahi hoga…

 

Armaan smiles: see just mere words effects u so much think about him, how much it was painful for him to see u like that. first in these 2 days u were like that.. no matter how much u showed everyone that u r fine, no matter how much u had taken care of ur health but this heart… this heart showed the pain to his heart. U said ur n maan’s heart are connected then why u couldn’t understand his pain seeing u like that…. geet was silent remembering the time he entered their room and she had seen him in pain… armaan saw her thinking face, so he carried…. Gudiya just think how much he got worried seeing u working like that, ridz called me and said how u were falling and how maan saved u.. do u know how much pain n fear had gone through on him? just ask me how much fear I felt when I saw riddhima in that hospital, it was real pain gudiya.. seeing ur love fighting for her life I can’t tell u how its feel but only can say the pain u feel physically his emotional pain was much more than that, just think about that first…

 

Geet: I m sorry amy, I know he had gone through a lot because of me…..

 

Armaan: I know u realize ur mistake and trust me he will realize it more speedily than u, of course he has sharper brain than ur dumb one…

 

Geet pouted on his remark but armaan laughed on her baby face… but soon geet too smiles.. armaan patted her head…

 

Armaan: I know he has very bad anger, which forced him to say all that but just try to see the pain n love behind those words… geet nodded with tears slipping and a smile.. armaan sighed in relief to see his old geet back.. the moment he had seen maan’s face he knew something must have gone between them and seeing geet gloomy expressionless face he knew they had a fight.. Geet haven’t cried for that which can effect her health badly, so he needed to make her cry but in a good manner..

Party had begun but maan’s peace was nowhere to be seen, he just wanted to run away from the place, he wanted to hug his geet, wanted to console her, he understand he had hurt her a lot. The moment abhay said all work was done by them and worker geet was just supervising them.. ridz and piya also said how much she was happy when all work was finished. She just wanted to call him and tell all work is done. She wanted to hear few appreciating words but all she heard accusation.. they said she didn’t had junk food but salad and fruits… and carried the medicine which she will have on time… he repents his every word.. His restlessness was visible on his face…. he closed his eyes just to feel her but only her painful eyes were visible… he met the client and gave the presentation a little away from party… their privet conference hall.. everyone was really happy and they signed the deal in front of the world… maan though didn’t showed his restlessness but he definitely missed his wife… if he didn’t showed his anger maybe she would have been beside him when he signed the deal.. The success he is receiving now somewhere it’s because of geet.. only because of her party could started on time which made it a success… Aadi and abhay sensed maan’s restlessness. they knew he want to go out from the party and meet geet so they said aadi will handle the client and abhay will handle the party.. ridz n piya also accompanied them.. maan mumbling a thanks hurriedly went out from the party…. Aadi made an announcement that because of some urgent family problem maan went out from the party but do enjoy themselves….

 

 

Sometime which we can’t make understand through worry or anger that another person can make really easy by showing some logic which we usually lack in our pain to express to our love one…
